I am pleased to announce my first show with Guillaume Daeppen Gallery. If you are in Switzerland or near Basel please come by and see the show! I have also attached my press release in English. Thanks and I hope to see you there! Alien Interviews: We’ve made contact. In his first exhibition with GALLERY GUILLAUME DAEPPEN, Theodore will bring to life 13 selected Alien Interviews including still photography and video. Boyer’s work reflects both interaction with extra terrestrial life forms and the mysteries of what the future of humanity holds. Through collage and video Theodore unearths a narrative of “relics” which was found after a Post-Apocalyptic chaos on planet Earth. The Aliens re introduced the last remaining humans to the fundamental planetary laws. Its been a while since i have made a post, but iv’e been putting together a ton of new work. And I am pleased to announce my first art book has been published. Its titled “Alien Interviews: We’ve made contact.” Signed copies will be sold at the opening in Basel, Switzerland. Please inquire for additions. I have also attached some collages i have been working on recently. I call then “Voyeurisms” from my series of paintings and works on paper which hold the same title. Enjoy… -Theodore The setting is post-apocalyptic Earth, 2015, or as we now call it year 3. Geographically uncertain where the earth begins or ends the landscape is desert, leading up to a vast mountain range. At the base of the mountain range, there are rock walls lined with caves which are inhabited by the last remaining humans. Between the mountains and sea there is what once was a city. Noted to be a technological and cultural hub of the planet, its remains are made up mostly of rubble and steel foundations. The last remaining humans are a few, but highly sophisticated and educated from knowledge of the lost world. Selected books, musical instruments and artifacts have been excavated and preserved for future generations to re discover the mysteries of the lost world and what led to its demise. The current emotional status of society is optimistic and joyous. Currency has been replaced with trade for goods or work, and the governing system is replaced by honesty and hospitality. Every person has passion for what he or she does and is rewarded with an exchange of knowledge and or life sustaining materials such as food or shelter. Natural springs provide water for the minimized population. As a result there is an understanding of decency among men. Transportation is not dependent on fossil fuels, but by modes of natural transportation through water or air. Sophisticated vessels are built and are fueled by natural resources such high energy containing algae. As a result of a minimal population, public transportation is not necessary. In the year 1, Earth was inhabited by groups of Aliens, all residing in the remaining city centers throughout the planet. Although most humans have not seen the Aliens, they are aware of their presence through the large mother ships that mysteriously float over the remains of the cities. Each half year there are announcements from the ships to call a select group of 300 humans. Intuition provides security for the humans, and it is known that the Aliens are here to give information and hospitality to the chosen few. It is known that the importance of the “chosen ones” is crucial to the future of humankind and the galaxy as a whole. I awake in the center of this post-apocalyptic reality to discover that my role on Earth is much more important than ever imaginable. To Be Continued… The last few weeks have been amazing. Truly. I have been traveling through Eastern Europe and visiting places I would have never imagined. Evi’s family cottage in the countryside, Bishto’s farm outside of Bratislava, and every old factory in between. |
